She honed her skills through four years of dedicated study in Graphic Design and Fine Arts at Harding University, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts upon graduation. Virginia has five years of work experience with a variety of jobs.
Virginia's professional journey began with an engaging internship at Foobee, a dynamic entrepreneurial venture focused on meet-up app development. Here, she crafted captivating app layouts, posters, advertisements, and brochures tailored for both the U.S. and Chinese markets, leaving an indelible mark on the company's visual identity while collaborating closely with the senior graphic designer and event planner.
Following her internship, Virginia embarked on a delightful part-time role as a caricature artist at the Washington National Zoo. Her artistic talents shone as she created bespoke commissioned drawings, delighting and capturing the memories of visitors.
Her passion for design then led her to a family-owned athletic equipment company, where she worked closely with the senior graphic designer and event planner. Together, they produced vibrant t-shirt designs, bib numbers, and logos to complement seasonal themes for local events and races.
Presently, Virginia serves as a lab assistant at Waypoint Analytical, contributing her expertise to the team's scientific pursuits. Beyond her professional commitments, she continues to expand her skill set through online courses at CGMA Computer Graphics Masters Academy, further refining her drawing and computer skills.
